[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n the most beautiful warm July afternoon, Leslie and Kevin began their wedding day getting ready with their family. When I arrived, I was welcomed by Leslie’s sweet sisters! (who are my senior spokesmodels this year)

I’ve known Leslie and her family for years. Leslie and I grew up and went to the same high school. When she met Kevin, I knew he was the one who would make her so happy. When I saw he had proposed, I was SO excited for them. Then she asked if I’d photograph their big day, and I was more than honored. I love all of my couples, but there is just something so special about seeing your friends find the love of their life. Plus, I love spending wedding days with friends!!

Through all the COVID planning, Leslie and Kevin knew they just wanted to get married. Thomas and I knew exactly how they felt when we were planning too! In front of their closest family and friends, they tied the knot on their original wedding date. Although it was a little bit smaller than they had originally planned. Nothing could have gone better! The subtle touches of flowers, burlap and lace set the tone for their simple and rustic day. So beautiful!

Leslie wrote vows to Kevin’s sweet little girl and gave her the prettiest necklace. So emotional!!!

Shooting this wedding was such an honor. This sweet family is so special!

Their reception was so sweet. I’m such a sucker for daddy daughter dances.
