I’ll try putting into words just how special and magical this Glade Creek Farm Wedding was. When Mary first inquired last year, I immediately connected with her story. Unlike most couples, Silas and Mary have lived out the marriage vows: “for better or worse, in sickness and health” before even saying I do. The way these two light up in each other’s presence just make you realize, they were made for each other. 

Glade Creek Farm is the perfect place to marry the love of your life. This was our first time at the venue and when I say it is one of my favorites, I mean it. We will travel anywhere for weddings, and I would go back in a heartbeat to this gorgeous place! 

As usual, we started the day off with the details. They really do help tell each couples’ story and get my creative juices flowing. The Disney magic came alive! Mary put so many heartfelt touches into this beautiful day. Her love for Disney was evident in all the magical details!! I love these.

I don’t think I’ve ever teared up as much as I did this wedding day. So many happy tears!!!

Why should you do a first look? For images like these. Oh my goodness, so many emotions during this part of the day.

First looks not only allow you to get to spend your wedding day together, but it gives you SO much portrait time!!

Doesn’t Mary’s bridal look just scream fairytale princess?! Probably my favorite bridal portraits ever.

The Ceremony

My goodness this chapel. It is truly beautiful. Well done, Glade Creek Farm!! These gorgeous stained glass windows were about to be gone forever until owner, Rhonda spotted them on Facebook marketplace. She and Gerard shared the story of with us of how they made the almost 8 hour round trip to get them. Worth it!! Aren’t they just stunning!?

After the ceremony we took some super fun bridal party shots! This group was just the best. I know they all were just ecstatic for Mary and Silas.

The Reception

Next, reception time!! More tears and laughter! So many heartfelt words and a lot of great dance moves. We had the best time at this party! 

Let’s just talk about this cake. Incredible! Mary’s vision came to life.

Sunset Portraits

It’s always fun to sneak away for some sunset portraits sometime during your reception. Glade Creek Farm Weddings are known for their epic mountaintop sunset images. Let’s just say this periwinkle sky did not disappoint!

Ice cream, a private dance and sparklers to end the magical night!! It was truly the best day.

Mary and Silas, your love will only get sweeter with time! What an honor it was to document the beginning of your happily ever after. I pray The Lord’s blessings over your marriage and life together! Thank you so much for allowing us to photograph your wedding day.
