This week’s wedding tip Wednesday post is going to be featuring advice from a favorite West Virginia Event Planner, Alyssa B Events! I worked with Baily and her sweet team last year for at Mary and Silas’s wedding at Glade Creek Farm and am so honored that she is giving this week’s wedding advice!
Alyssa B (Baily) shares that she is almost five years into in her business of planning, designing, and coordinating weddings. Her business has taken her places she would’ve never imagined. Baily, a West Virginia native like myself, thought that she would only be serving the Appalachian area, but is expanding to the West Coast. She is currently living in Seattle with her better half and loves seeing how different the trends are from state to state!
I love hearing advice from other fellow vendor friends! When I asked Baily what she would tell couples planning their wedding she said: “My best advice for newly engaged couples is to prioritize the things that matter to you most, don’t take others opinions more seriously than you take your own, and try to be as present as you can throughout your day.” I LOVE this advice. So many times I see couples asking way too many people their opinions about their day. At the end of your wedding day, you want it to just be about you two!! Enjoy that!
This West Virginia event planner who also serves the West Coast has seen a lot of different weddings! I was curious what Baily’s favorite thing about weddings was. Baily said she loves how unique and different each wedding is. She loves when couples incorporate quirky things about themselves and their relationship into their big day and kick the traditions that they don’t like!
Sweet Baily is an incredible planner, coordinator, florist and friend. I love working weddings with her! It’s such a great feeling to help brides plan their weddings with people who love their job as much as I do. If you’d like to learn more about Alyssa B Events, click here! I highly recommend Baily and her team for any wedding or event. Never miss a blog post! Sign up for my email list here. Want to see another wedding tip Wednesday post? Click here!
