Last week I had the opportunity to visit the beautiful Mayhurst Estate! Located in Orange County, Virginia, this space is a beautiful luxury B&B and wedding venue. Mayhurst stands as a timeless testament to historic charm and natural beauty. Stepping onto its grounds feels like stepping back in time, as the estate’s rich history unfolds before your eyes.

When I walked in the door, I was met with an ethereal charm that encompassed the entire inn. After chatting on Instagram with sweet Casey Cashell, who owns the estate alongside her husband, it was so nice to finally meet her in person! Her presence was as warm as the hot coffee she offered. I was in awe touring the space.

The History

Originally built in the mid-19th century, Mayhurst Estate exudes a sense of grandeur and elegance that is simply unmatched. Its stately architecture and intricate detail serve as a reminder of the history in an era when craftsmanship reigned supreme. I felt my head spin imagining all the walks of life and stories that passed through those same doors.
