Kelcee and Shayne’s whimsical wedding in Tucker County, West Virginia, was a celebration of love that perfectly captured the magic of nature and their love. Nestled in the heart of their hometown along the river, the setting itself provided a stunning backdrop. Kelcee’s vision and details of the day made it truly unforgettable.
Kelcee and Shayne are two of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. Both with hearts of service and smiles that will light up a room. I’ll never forget their presence on the night before Marcia passed. We sat around her home telling stories, laughing and just talking about life. Shayne and his family were Thomas’s neighbors for the majority of his life, which meant this day would be extra special. We were honored to document this incredible day for them.
This couple embraced a vibrant color palette that brought a joyful, enchanting atmosphere to their outdoor ceremony. Bright, blooming flowers in shades of jewell tones, deep mauve, and emerald greens adorned the tent for the reception too. Their colors truly popped against the lush green landscape. Every detail was carefully selected to reflect a sense of a playful, bold, and full of life atmosphere. Kelcee’s bouquet was a cascade of wildflowers, while Shayne’s boutonniere matched the delicate tones. I loved the groomsmen in tweed suits and variety of colored bridesmaid dresses.
A misty rain began falling a few hours before their ceremony started. We didn’t let it interrupt any plans though. Rain is good luck on your wedding day, just ask Thomas and I! The rain weaved a sense of romance and magic into their day. Rather than being a disruption, it truly enhanced the beautiful moments as Kelcee and Shayne exchanged vows. The mist clung to the trees, creating a dreamlike ambiance as they walked away smiling.
While Kelcee and Shayne’s ceremony was absolutely beautiful, their reception somehow was even better. Guests enjoyed a unique blend of original music from the band, and some great food from a local restaurant. We laughed and cried through speeches and danced the night away under the glowing vintage string lights.
In every way, Kelcee and Shayne’s whimsical wedding in Tucker County embodied romance, color, and the beauty of their love in the great outdoors. Their day was a beautiful reminder that even unexpected weather can bring an added touch of magic, especially when you just embrace it! Love and nature intertwine so perfectly.
Congratulations, Kelcee and Shayne! We love you both and are so happy for you. May God bless your marriage abundantly.
xoxo,
Zoe
