Kate and Briston’s Hotel Morgan engagement session was a picture-perfect evening celebrating their love. As we arrived, the warm summer night felt almost magical, setting the perfect backdrop for this wonderful couple. From the moment I first met these two, it was clear they were a perfect match. Both of them wore sweet smiles that seemed to glow brighter as the evening went on. Their playful personalities made it easy to capture their joy on camera. Watching Kate laugh as Briston whispered something in her ear, or seeing the way Briston looked at Kate with such admiration, made each shot feel genuine and timeless.

A Beautiful Glow

We began their session with some casual and fun shots on the nearby rail trail in Morgantown. The warmth of the summer night created that golden glow that my photographer dreams are made of. The glow paired perfectly with this sweet couple’s love-filled glances and joyful laughter. The Hotel Morgan itself is an iconic venue, with its historic architecture and elegant chandeliers. It added a classic touch to each image, almost as if we stepped back in time. The large ballroom was perfect for a portion of their session, its grandeur created a backdrop that felt both romantic and cinematic.

As the sun began to set, we captured some beautiful portraits outside the historic hotel.
