Jessica and Willie’s wedding was one of those unforgettable days that leaves everyone smiling long after the last dance. Held at Palomino Pastures in Ritchie County, West Virginia, near Jessica’s hometown. Their celebration was a beautiful mix of heartfelt moments, timeless details, and pure joy.

Jessica and Willie met in Atlanta during COVID while Jessica was working there, and from that moment on, they’ve been inseparable. Surrounded by a circle of friends and family who absolutely adore them, their wedding day felt intimate, joyful, and deeply personal.
From the very beginning, it was clear how much love was in the air. Their connection is quiet and steady, a beautiful love that speaks volumes through small glances and shared laughs. Willie is head-over-heels for Jessica, and their day was a reflection of that tender affection.

The morning began with beautifully curated wedding details that perfectly reflected Jessica’s style. After a sweet moment getting into her dress, Jessica shared intimate moments with her mom, her bridesmaids, and little flower girl. Each interaction was full of love and anticipation.
Instead of a first look, Jessica and Willie chose a “first touch” moment where they exchanged letters without seeing each other. It was a sweet and emotional exchange that set the tone for the day.

Their outdoor ceremony was officiated by a family member and filled with emotion. You could see their joy radiating through every photo, faces just glowing with happiness. It was clear to everyone in attendance that this moment was everything they had been dreaming of.
The florals were a highlight of the day… romantic, classic, and full of lush greenery. The ceremony space, surrounded by a few tall trees and sunlight filtering through, was a breathtaking backdrop for portraits and vows.
One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was when Jessica’s grandparents walked her down the aisle, adding a deeply personal and emotional touch to the ceremony. Even more memorable was their “flower granny” – Jessica’s great-grandmother – who walked alongside her niece, the flower girl, creating a generational moment no one will forget.

After the ceremony, we captured family photos, bridal party portraits, and of course, romantic images of this sweet bride and groom. Jessica had a vision to feel like a princess in her portraits and she absolutely did. From her soft sparkly gown to the golden-hour lighting, everything came together perfectly. And let’s not forget one of the best parts, Jessica and Willie’s sweet pup made an appearance during portraits.
A special mention goes to the floral designer, The Flower Daddy. These blooms were some of my favorites this year.

The reception was small and intentional, exactly what Jessica and Willie envisioned. They kicked things off with heartfelt dances: a first dance, a mother-son dance, and a beautiful moment where Jessica danced with her grandmother (cue me sobbing behind the camera).
After heartfelt speeches, we snuck away for a few sunset portraits in the glowing field overlooking the venue. That fall golden light was magical.

We wrapped up the night with a sparkler “faux exit” that resulted in some of my favorite party shots.
Jessica and Willie’s wedding was a true reflection of who they are, warm, kind, deeply in love, and surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. It was an honor to be a part of such a beautiful, joy-filled day.
The joy and love from their family were truly palpable. And as if the day couldn’t be more picturesque, the rolling country roads that wind through Ritchie County made the perfect symbolic backdrop — proof that sometimes, country roads really do lead you home.

Thank you, Jessica and Willie, for trusting me to capture such a special and joy-filled chapter of your love story. It was an honor to be part of your wedding day!
xoxo,
Zoe
