What a beautiful, joy-filled year! 2025 was the best year in business I’ve ever had, and I truly owe that to the incredible couples who entrusted me with their wedding day memories. This year, I photographed 10 weddings across multiple states and served the absolute kindest clients I could have asked for. Every gallery I delivered reminded me how deeply meaningful this work is. With over 19,000 wedding images delivered this year 🤯, it only felt right to sit down and reflect on some of the highlights!
This year looked a little different as I intentionally scaled back and took on fewer weddings, focusing only on the couples and stories I felt most aligned with. That decision allowed me to be more present, more creative, and more connected with every couple. From weekday celebrations to intimate gatherings, each wedding brought its own magic.
2025 kicked off with my very first Thursday wedding in a long time and it could not have been more special. Shannon and Mike shared a sweet first look and first dance moment before their ceremony at Hotel Morgan in Morgantown. Their intimate celebration took place at Flour and Feed surrounded by their closest loved ones. This wedding set such a beautiful tone for the year.

In May, Sierra and Zack tied the knot in a simple, heartfelt church ceremony, followed by a family-style reception at a local venue in Pennsylvania. The day was full of warmth, love, and the kind of joy that comes from being surrounded by people who mean the most.

Ahh, Abigail and Jace… Barbie and Ken energy all the way. These two were just radiant. Their Thursday wedding at the Great Marsh Estate was a literal dream. From heartfelt moments to the sweetest vendor team, it’s hard to pick a favorite moment because the whole day was magic. Their love for the Lord was woven throughout the celebration, which made it all the more meaningful.

Kate and Briston’s wedding was big, beautiful, and so much fun. Their personalities lit up the room, and their bridal party was an absolute blast. They even had a vintage car as part of their portraits on the day, which made for some seriously iconic photos.

Fall kicked off with Kaitlyn and Zach’s wedding, a special family event I’ll never forget. We shot portraits in the church parking lot, and would you believe they were some of my favorite images of the entire year? Proof that location doesn’t matter when there’s real love and beauty in the moment.

Raquel and David’s wedding was bursting with personality, culture, and pure joy. Hosted at Red Barn Inn and planned by the talented Savage Sisters Events, this was a party through and through. Their dance floor photos are some of the most fun I captured all year, and their love felt youthful, vibrant, and so real.

This intimate family-only wedding in the woods of Hocking Hills was incredibly peaceful and emotional. Meghan and Harley said “I do” at a cabin surrounded by their favorite people and the glowiest golden-hour light you could ask for. It was everything a wedding should be… heartfelt, grounded, and beautifully simple.

I was so excited to shoot at The Ellis House this October- what a gorgeous venue! Jessica and Brandon are sweet introverts who wanted a fun celebration with their people, and they delivered. Their wedding details were so thoughtful, and they even included their dog Millie in the festivities. I’m dying to go back to this venue next year!

If I could bottle the light and colors from Jessica and Willie’s wedding day, I would! The weather was perfection, and their celebration was full of tenderness, emotion, and laughter. Willie’s love for Jessica was so evident in every moment. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

Emily and Tommy’s wedding was the perfect way to wrap up my 2025 season. These two are compassionate, thoughtful, and so deeply family-oriented. They were married under the trees in a ceremony that I’ll remember for the rest of my career. Their portraits were taken during peak fall color, and their sparkler photos under Spanish moss to end the night? Truly unforgettable. They even served the best ice cream at their reception. 😍

As I reflect on the 10 weddings I photographed this year, I just feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I don’t take it lightly that my job is to document the beginning of forever for so many amazing couples. It’s a gift I cherish deeply.
2025 was full of golden light, laughs, sparkler exits, sentimental speeches, and the kind of genuine connection that makes this work so meaningful. Thank you to each of you who invited me into your story this year. I will always be cheering you on.
Here’s to 2026 and all the beauty it will bring!
