An Elegant East Coast Luxury Wedding Filled with Meaning

Faith and Luke’s East Coast luxury wedding beautifully blended timeless elegance, romantic details, and a deeply meaningful celebration of marriage. From their emotional outdoor ceremony to refined portraits and a joy-filled reception, their wedding day was an effortless example of how a luxury celebration can still feel incredibly personal.

Some wedding days leave you with beautiful photographs. Others leave you with a full heart. Faith and Luke’s wedding was one of those days that I’ll never forget.

I’ve had the incredible privilege of photographing several weddings for the Kimmich family over the years, and each one has reminded me just how special this family is. There are six siblings, and getting to celebrate another one of their wedding days felt like such an honor. Looking back at the weddings I’ve documented for them over the years makes me incredibly grateful for the relationships this job has given me.

From the very beginning of the day, you could tell this wedding wasn’t simply about beautiful details or creating a perfect celebration. Every part of the day pointed back to the Lord and reflected the foundation that Faith and Luke have built their relationship upon.

Romantic East Coast Luxury Wedding Day

If I had to describe Faith and Luke’s wedding in one phrase, it would simply be this: Christ was at the center of everything. Every detail felt intentional.

As guests arrived, they found their seating assignments alongside one of the sweetest displays I’ve ever seen; a collection of Bibles where guests were invited to highlight meaningful verses that had impacted their own lives. It was such a beautiful way to encourage everyone to reflect on God’s Word while celebrating the beginning of Faith and Luke’s marriage.

Throughout the day, it became so evident that they desired their wedding to glorify the Lord above everything else.

As a photographer, those are the kinds of celebrations that stay with you long after the wedding day is over.

A Meaningful Outdoor Ceremony Filled with Worship

Their ceremony honestly brought me to tears.

Set beneath the pavilion, the ceremony space felt like an outdoor chapel surrounded by family, friends, and worship. As everyone sang together and celebrated the covenant Faith and Luke were entering into, there was such a reverence throughout the entire service.

It wasn’t rushed.
Didn’t feel performative.
It simply felt sacred.

Watching two people become one before the Lord is always an incredible privilege, but this ceremony especially reminded me why I love documenting weddings that are rooted in faith.

Romantic Wedding Portraits With a Timeless Feel

The forecast had everyone watching the weather throughout the day, but somehow the rain held off exactly when we needed it to.

Instead of bright sunshine, we were gifted the dreamiest overcast skies that photographers absolutely love. The soft light created the perfect backdrop for portraits, and everything felt peaceful from beginning to end.

Faith looked absolutely stunning!

Her gown, timeless style, and elegant bridal look fit the day so beautifully, and photographing her with her bridesmaids before the ceremony was one of my favorite parts of the morning.

Since they chose not to do a first look, there was such anticipation leading up to the ceremony. Watching Luke see his bride for the very first time as she walked down the aisle made that moment even more meaningful.

A Luxury Wedding Reception Surrounded by Family and Friends

One thing I love about the Kimmich family is how deeply they value one another. You don’t have to spend very long around them to see the genuine love they have for each other. That same love was reflected throughout the entire wedding day.

Family portraits were full of laughter, joyful tears, and hugs, while the bridal party brought so much energy and encouragement throughout the afternoon.

Faith’s family was equally welcoming and kind, making it such a joy to celebrate the joining of these two families.

Why Meaningful Details Elevate a Luxury Wedding

During the reception, Faith’s dad and sister shared words that I know I’ll remember for a long time. They spoke about how everyone’s Bible should look like Faith’s. Well loved, well used, and filled with evidence of time spent in God’s Word.

One statement especially stayed with me: A worn-out Bible is not necessarily a worn-out life.

What a beautiful reminder.

Moments like those are why I love documenting weddings. They become so much more than photographs… they preserve the words, emotions, and memories that families will carry with them for generations.

A Joy-Filled Celebration to Begin Their Marriage

After romantic portraits together and an evening filled with celebration, laughter, and live music, it was so evident that everyone was simply overjoyed to celebrate Faith and Luke.

The entire day reflected who they are, kind, joyful, humble, and deeply committed to one another.

Their wedding reminded me that while beautiful details certainly matter, it’s the foundation beneath them that makes a wedding unforgettable.

I’m so thankful I was able to be part of this day and celebrate another Kimmich family wedding.
