[dropcap]S[/dropcap]ummer and Jack’s wedding day was full of love, excitement and so much JOY! I’ve known Summer for such a long time. From grade school years to cheer leading and giving me rides to practice, she was always someone I looked up to you.

I was so happy when she found the love of her life and when she asked me to photograph this special time in their lives. It’s such a joy to see childhood friends build beautiful lives. These two really show what it’s like to have a great time together!

A beautiful and HOT day!

It was an absolutely beautiful and unusually HOT for the mountains of WV. And that heat didn’t stop us from having the best day.

Summer and Jack decided to do a first look which is ONE of my favorite things to shoot during the wedding day. The ceremony overlooked one of the most beautiful views of this great state of West Virginia, at Blackwater Falls. Summer and Jack were surrounded by those that love them most and they honored Jack’s dad in such a special way.

After the lovely outdoor ceremony, guests had so much fun at their beautifully decorated reception hall and even got a special treat with Summer and Jack’s choreographed first dance. I was so impressed when she told me they had practice for months! The dance was flawless and one of my favorite things during the reception. Summer and her dad also had a special treat for guests and even included the rest of her family in a super fun dance!

Overall, Summer and Jack have the best time together. I know that they will cherish this day forever! You guys, remember, you’ll make so many more beautiful moments together. Cherish them! It was such a beautiful wedding and I’m so honored that I got to be a part of it. I wish you both the most wonderful life together and pray God‘s blessings over your marriage.
