[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ast year was so overwhelming for me working full time and planning our wedding (in the middle of a pandemic) that I totally neglected my 2020 weddings on the blog. I’m sorry 2020 brides! Now I’m sharing all of these gorgeous weddings on this throwback Thursday series of posts.
On a super hot day in July, Virginia and Cody got married overlooking The White Barn’s gorgeous pond and rolling hills. The day was spent with their very closest family and friends (thanks COVID) and was full of so much laughter, joy and fun. Despite all their changes in plans, they had the most beautiful wedding!! Nothing can stop love.
Ginny and Cody are a super special In His Image couple. I knew when I met them at their engagement session that they’d become friends! They helped me with a fun branding project in 2019. She and I continued to stay in touch as we anxiously started planning our dream weddings. We panicked together when the world got shut down. Finally, their big day came and Thomas and I were able to be there to document their beautiful wedding.
We had so much fun hanging with these two and their family, and working alongside some of our favorite vendors! These two are such an amazing couple! I loved their wedding day so much. Hope you still like looking at your pictures as much as I do, Virginia and Cody. Even if it is six months later! Enjoy some of my very favorites.
I always start the day documenting details. They are super important in telling every couples story. The dress, shoes, rings and jewelry are always some of my favorites from the day. I am still so in love with Virginia’s dress! It was the perfect mix of lace, tulle and sparkle! Every bride’s dream.
These beautiful florals were the perfect touch to the barn’s vintage elegance.
As Virginia and her daddy walk down the aisle together, Cody is patiently waiting to see his bride. These moments are what I live for. So special!
Lots of laughs and heartfelt words!
That “I can’t believe we’re finally married” look! Love it!
Thomas got this one. I love this pictures! Pure bliss.
Bride and groom portraits are so much fun! Most couples don’t realize but it’s usually your only time together just the two of you to soak it all in!
I still feel like I can’t pick a favorite because there are SO many!!!!
We love ya, Virginia and Cody! So honored to document these special moments for you.
xoxo,
Zoe
