A little over two weeks ago, Leslie and John reached out to me about planning their dream wedding, an epic elopement at Dolly Sods. Dolly Sods Wilderness is one of the most unique and beautiful places in West Virginia. Some of the most gorgeous mountain top views in all the state, and beautiful rocks. There are thousands of acres of beauty. I LOVE shooting there! I was so excited that I was available to document this beautiful wedding day!
Sunday came, and it was beautiful in the valley, but once we reached the top of the mountain, it was very foggy. Leslie and John made the best of it though, and I think it was gorgeous! We had a great time celebrating their union with their closest family members. The flaming red bushes complimented perfectly with their color scheme. It was such a joyful afternoon! These two never stopped smiling and I don’t think I did either!
YAY for love!! Not even crazy thick fog can stop it!!
I loved Leslie’s bouquet. It popped off of her dress and the red bushes!
This was one of my favorite images from the day. You can see how the trees grow on top of the mountain because of the wind! Luckily we didn’t encounter any of that crazy wind on Sunday!
Congratulations, Leslie and John!! May The Lord bless your marriage! Thank you for allowing me to document your beautiful Dolly Sods Elopement.
xoxo,
Zoe
