Shannon and Mike’s intimate Morgantown wedding was the kind of day that stays with you—a stunning, joy-filled celebration wrapped in love with their favorite people, elegance, and laughter. Beginning with wedding portraits at Hotel Morgan setting the tone, and ending with dinner and drinks following the intimate ceremony. Their day was a beautiful blend of timeless style and heartfelt moments.
The day began with portraits at the iconic Hotel Morgan, a venue that is full of sophistication and charm. Sha and Mike looked absolutely incredible—Mike in a sharp black tuxedo and Sha in a satin fitted gown that radiated classic elegance. Her pearl and beaded gloves were the perfect touch, adding vintage flair to her already stunning bridal look. After sharing a touching first look and private first dance, we captured their love and style effortlessly with elegant portraits, filled with joy.
From there, we made our way to Flour and Feed for both the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was intimate and emotional, the kind that brings happy tears to your eyes and a smile to your heart. Every detail felt intentional, every word spoken felt meaningful. Sha and Mike were glowing the entire day, smiling at each other like no one else was in the room. It was such a privilege to witness!
The reception was cozy and joyful, with a family-style dinner that felt like one big celebration of love and togetherness. Their guests—some of the most excited and genuinely happy people I’ve ever met—brought such a vibrant energy to the evening. The dance floor was alive, but the quieter moments were just as special.
One of the most tender and memorable highlights came when Sha and Mike played the board game Trouble with Sha’s grandma. It was full of laughter, sweet glances, and the kind of nostalgia that reminds you what weddings are really about—connection, love, and honoring where we come from.
From timeless wedding portraits at Hotel Morgan to heartfelt family moments, Shannon and Mike’s day was unforgettable. I left feeling incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful, love-filled celebration. Enjoy some of my favorite moments form the day!!
Shannon honored her mom’s memory by wearing her wedding band. It was so beautiful!
Congratulations, you two!! May God richly bless your marriage. I absolutely loved documenting all of these moments. Thank you!
xoxo,
Zoe
