Some wedding days are filled with hundreds of guests and packed dance floors. And then there are wedding days like Jess and Brian’s… Quiet, intentional, deeply joyful, and centered around what mattered most to them: finally being married.
This intimate Virginia vineyard elopement at Williams Gap Winery was such a beautiful reminder that weddings do not have to be large to be meaningful. Honestly, it was one of the sweetest evenings.

A few months before their wedding day, Jess reached out to me and said something that I think so many couples can relate to:
“We’re just ready to get married.”
They wanted a relaxed evening together with beautiful photos to remember it all and a celebration that truly felt like them. No pressure, overwhelming timeline or stress. Just the two of them, their pup, and a really beautiful spring evening in Virginia wine country.

Jess works part-time at Williams Gap Vineyard in Round Hill, Virginia, so the location already held meaning for them before the wedding day even began.
Because of their relationship with the owners, they were able to host their intimate ceremony overlooking the vineyard and it honestly could not have been a more perfect setting.
If you’re searching for:
Williams Gap is such a hidden gem. The views, the light, the peaceful atmosphere… everything about it felt calm and intentional.

Jess and Brian exchanged vows during a short and heartfelt ceremony overlooking the vineyard. The weather was absolutely perfect, and as the evening went on, we were gifted the dreamiest soft light for portraits.
One of my favorite things about intimate weddings like this is how relaxed everyone feels. There’s time to slow down. Time to actually soak it all in. And time to simply enjoy being together and that’s exactly what this evening felt like.

After the ceremony, they celebrated with champagne, cake, and some of their closest people, including two of their best friends (who are also their neighbors).
And of course… their sweet dog made an appearance too, which made the evening feel even more personal and meaningful. Just look at the joy on their faces!! These are the kinds of moments that make a wedding gallery truly feel like your life.

A few days after their wedding, Jess sent me the kindest message saying their family was completely blown away by the photos.
Because they had planned to tell family afterward, the images became such an important part of helping everyone feel included in the experience.
She said the photos made their family feel like they were there with them.
And honestly… hearing things like that never gets old. That’s why I care so deeply about documenting these moments well.
There’s something really beautiful about couples choosing a wedding day that reflects who they truly are. Whether that looks like:
What matters most is that it feels meaningful to you.
Jess and Brian’s day was simple in all the best ways. It was intentional, joyful, emotional, and relaxed. Completely centered around their relationship and the excitement of finally becoming husband and wife!
There was no pressure to make the day anything other than what they truly wanted, and I think that’s what made it feel so meaningful. I feel incredibly honored that I got to be part of such a special evening for the two of them.
