Valentine’s day is almost here!! I don’t care who it was created for, I love to celebrate anything, especially LOVE!!! I thought it would be great to share a few fun tips for what to do fun this Valentine’s Day!

1. Outdoor activities

We’ve had lots of snow this winter! If you’re in to skiing, sledding, or tubing, Tucker county is the place to be!!! Winter is so much fun with snow in the mountains. From ice skating to skiing, there’s something for everyone. Timberline and Canaan Valley State park have tons of fun for a date night or the whole family. Skiing and tubing are the most popular, and if you’d like, head on over to Blackwater Falls for sledding!

2. Browse the shops on front street

I LOVE where we live. There are tons of amazing artists, shops and great food along front street Thomas! Pick out a bouquet of flowers at Thomasyard or Ella and Company. Stop for some hot coffee and a snack at Tip Top and shop away to find lots of treasures at several of the local storefronts. Then grab some dinner at the new Farm Up Table!!

3. Enjoy a weekend stay in a cozy cabin

One of the best things about Tucker County are the fun and cozy places to stay! Check out Timberline’s secluded cabins, tiny homes in Thomas or rent a cabin at one of our state parks!!! There are so many great places to come and enjoy your stay!! Perfect for a romantic getaway or fun for the whole family.
