Winchester has been a place my family has visited for years. The beautiful architecture and rich history of the city makes it so much fun to vacation there year after year.
Since we weren’t able to visit the city last year I feel like this year’s trip was extra special. It was Thomas’s first time go to a cool steam and engine show that happens every year in the nearby Berryville. The boys have always loved the tractors and engines while Grammy, Mom and tour the city and shop our way through the weekend. It’s always a fun little long getaway weekend together.
Winchester is a little under 2 hours away from us and it’s a gorgeous drive there through the Shenandoah Valley. I took this shot at the end of my parent’s driveway the night before we left… WV sunsets are hard to beat!
Grayson has always loved tractors. He and Pappy have restored this one and I think it’s his very favorite. He drove it through parade at the show in Berryville.
Our weekend consisted of so many fun things! Snow cones, swimming, and sight seeing.
I didn’t get a shot of this adorable ice cream stand but it was the best ice cream! Tee was happy because he got his favorite-chocolate and banana twist! I always get cookie dough.
I don’t know why I haven’t done a session in Winchester yet?! Anyone up for it?!!! I just love downtown.
What a great weekend away. I LOVE to travel and cannot wait until we go to the beach in a few weeks!!
xoxo,
Zoe
