To say this Downtown Pittsburgh engagement session was one we’d been waiting for a long time is an understatement. When I had the honor of capturing Matt getting down on one knee in the middle of a May blizzard on top of Dolly Sods to ask Jess to spend forever with him, I really wanted to shoot their wedding.
Here we are a year later and they’re planning their elegant winter wedding in the city and I am so excited about it! Jess and Matt are our kind of people. They love Tucker County, going on adventures, hiking through the mountains. They’re both so down to earth and were just made for each other.
First we started by the river. I love the green trees and Look how much fun these two are!
We explored several of my new favorite spots in Pittsburgh. We probably should have looked at The Steeler’s schedule… Despite having to fight through the sea of black and gold, we had so much fun and got some awesome shots. It looked like we were the only people downtown!
Some of these are my favorites ever! Can you guess which ones? Their black and white against the bridge and colorful alley was so good. Also, that ring? To die for!
I’m so honored to document Jess and Matt’s wedding day. Cannot wait for January, you two!!
xoxo,
Zoe
