When I say I have the best couples, I mean it. Hannah and Russell’s beautiful fall Deep Creek Maryland wedding was so wonderful. Sure the florals, ceremony and reception spaces were STUNNING-but there was something even better… A presence of true love between the two of them. It was a joy-filled day to say the least! I’m so honored to have documented these special moments for these two. Let me just say, this post is going to be a LONG one full of stunning color and beautiful memories.

The Details

You know it’s going to be a good wedding when you get an entire bucket full of florals for the details. We started out the day with gorgeous color!! Florals make all the difference in detail photos.

Getting Ready and First Look

Hannah’s dress was stunning and the florals in her hair were just so unique! Believe me when I say there were tears when we watched this sweet couple see each other for the first time. I absolutely LOVE first looks and this is why. The sweet reactions, the hugs, so much emotion. You get to actually enjoy the surprise freely, and then spend the day together!

Bridal Party

After their first look and a few portraits, we knocked out bridal party portraits. This group was so much fun-and look at those sweet flower girls!!

A Ceremony in the Woods

A shelter from the chilly wind and the most beautiful floral arch. This ceremony was seriously stunning! Just look at how sweet Hannah and Russell are. They were SO excited to say I do!!

Portraits… Portraits… Portraits!

Did I mention that another benefit of doing a first look is that you get about triple the amount of portrait time. You know what that means? More time TOGETHER! You wouldn’t believe how quickly the day flies by, so any minute you can spend together-do it. Hannah and Russell were able to spend their day stress free and soak up time together. I have so many favorites from their day!!

The Reception and Sunset Portraits

A Reception in a greenhouse!! So unique, with beautiful light and stunning florals. This reception was so much fun. I vote for all receptions to be held in a greenhouse-it was perfect!

We always sneak away around sunset with every couple just to finish off the night with some beautiful glow! These sunset portraits were absolutely stunning.

Congratulations, Hannah and Russell! You two are one of the sweetest couples ever. I pray God’s goodness and blessings over your marriage. I know your love for each other with only grow with time. It was such an honor to document the beginning of your legacy together.
