As a traveling wedding photographer, it’s always SO much fun getting to shoot at different venues. Today’s Friday Favorites post is featuring lovely Red Barn Inn Weddings at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland! This off-lake venue offers a variety of vintage charm and elegance. There is rich history in both the barn and the inn! They make for the perfect wedding venue.
The Barn was built in the early 1800s to support a dairy farm, but in the last years has seen new life as it’s been renovated for weddings and events. The Inn has also been recently renovated and let me tell you… it is beautiful!!! Ceremony locations overlooking the pond, under their newly constructed pavilion or rock runway are the perfect place to say “I do”. Weddings at Red Barn Inn are sure to be beautiful.
First, let’s look inside the inn. Over the last few years, I photographed two of my favorite weddings ever at Red Barn Inn. Back in 2020, Amanda and Chris had a gorgeous fall wedding. This was the first opportunity I had to see the newly renovated inside of the inn!!! Each room is uniquely designed with modern touches all while preserving its historic charm. The white walls and large windows make for the perfect getting ready space.
Last winter, Katie and Trevor celebrated with their closest family and friends on a super cold November day. It was nothing short of perfect! From their colors to the elegant winter décor, I loved everything about their wedding day.
Inside the barn, you can see there is plenty of room for guests to dine and dance!! It accommodates parties of up to 200 guests. Invite your intimate list of family and friends or bring the whole party! There’s room for all. My favorite additions to the barn are the chandeliers and the gorgeous lights! There is even a newly built pub in the basement of the barn that is perfect for cocktail hour.
