A Winter Wedding in Canaan Valley | Megan and Donny |

Weddings

As the snowflakes danced delicately from the sky, Megan and Donny exchanged vows amidst the picturesque backdrop of snow covered trees in Canaan Valley. Their winter wedding was nothing short of breathtaking, filled with love, laughter, and the beauty of the season.

The Weather

Even though it was a teeny bit cold… two degrees to be exact; the couple’s decision to embrace the wintry charm of Canaan Valley for their special day was absolutely perfect. Their close friends’ cabin, nestled amidst snow-covered trees, provided a stunning natural setting for the celebration of their love. As Megan walked down the aisle with her sweet daddy, her radiant smile matched the glistening snow beneath her feet, and Donny’s eyes shone with admiration and love.

The Ceremony

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Megan and Donny pledged their love to each other against a backdrop of frosted pines. It was truly better than a movie backdrop. The crisp winter air made for a speedy ceremony, but nonetheless, it was truly heartfelt and brought those “warm-fuzzies” to all gathered on the deck to witness.

The Reception

After the ceremony, guests retreated to the warmth and coziness of the family cabin, which exuded rustic charm and hospitality. The crackling fireplace, adorned with garlands of evergreen, provided a perfect refuge from the cold outside. Inside, the scent of pine coupled with the laughter and joy of the newlyweds and their guests, creating an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness.

Despite the cold temperatures outside, the love and warmth shared among the guests kept spirits high throughout the evening. From heartfelt toasts to wonderful cuisine and the shared laughter of fond memories, the celebration was a testament to Megan and Donny’s enduring love and the bonds of family and friendship. This sweet couple had the perfect winter wedding in Canaan Valley. It’s truly an honor to document these moments!

I loved these moments Megan shared with her family. The giggles with her sisters, hugs from momma and a beautiful bracelet from her dad. Megan also wore her grandmother’s ring. It made me teary. How special!!

Donny shared a sweet moment with his sweet mother before the ceremony too. Just look at those smiles!

Could you envision a prettier winter ceremony?! Truly beautiful!

When I say these two are troopers, I mean it! It was getting colder by the minute… but these were SO worth it!! Megan and Donny are the sweetest and I loved their portrait time.

Congratulations, Megan and Donny!! May The Lord bless your marriage. What an honor to document your beautiful day!

xoxo,
Zoe
