Sarah + Ian | A Downtown Morgantown Wedding

Uncategorized

When Sarah told me about her plans for a Downtown Morgantown Wedding at Flour and Feed, I was SO excited. It brings my heart so much joy to document wedding days for people I’ve grown up with. Sarah and I went to school together, from grade school to high school, we danced together for years. I was so happy to see her and Ian get engaged! He truly completes her. They wanted their day to be relaxed, fun and just a big celebration with their closest friends and family… it was just that!

Getting ready and their first look…

Sarah got ready with her closest friends before she and Ian started their day with the sweetest first look! This part of the day is always so special.

Sarah said “I can’t believe I’m crying!” and that did it for me. All the tears and emotions are why I love first looks. You can experience them freely and privately with no pressure from anyone else!

The Ceremony

Short sweet and full of love. Sarah and Ian’s friend Bethany officiated their ceremony. I love heartfelt touches like this. It makes it even more special when and friend or family member marries my couples.

After their ceremony I caught what may have been one of my favorite shots from the day… the “I can’t believe we’re married” look!

The party

From the beginning of planning, Sarah and Ian knew they wanted a super fun atmosphere for their guests. That’s exactly how their reception went… SO MUCH FUN!

Wedding Portraits

The benefits of having a first look and no bridal party are that you get TONS of time for bride and groom portraits. We had the best time. These were straight out of a fairytale!

Happily Ever After

I loved this shot with Love at First Lights marquee letters to end the post. So much fun!

Congratulations, Sarah and Ian! May God richly bless your marriage. It was an honor to document your wedding day.

xoxo,
Zoe
