Our Story | Part 3

Personal

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]f you’re just joining our story today, I’d love for you to take a look at parts one and two!

Well this is it! Six years together. Year one together seemed like a really long time. Then it was two and three. Having Tee there to celebrate every moment, every happy memory and even the last three years that have transformed our lives completely is something I will always be thankful for.

Over the last three years since his dad’s passing, I’ve tried to soak up every moment in life. Each Sunday spent at my grandparents’ house after church, the long walks with Tee, and all the special holidays. These are the moments that are fleeting.

Tee has been there to push me to do my best in school, work and pursuing this dream of mine. He hears it all. He’s there to hold me when I feel overwhelmed and am crying my eyes out. He holds my hand when we go on walks (or really anywhere) he opens doors for me and kisses me before he closes my car door. I could go on and on about the things he does for me, but I think this may sum it all up: He loves me. On my best days and on my worst days, his love for me is evident through action and words. He loves me because he loves Christ first and I aim to love him just the same.

Love is not perfect

Love on this earth may not be perfect but God’s eternal love is.

Each time I get to hear these words spoken while shooting a wedding I can’t help but tear up. Christ’s love is the perfect example and I had to include them in this post:

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of wrongs. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Tee and I have been through unthinkable circumstances, but I’m confident that we will withstand anything in our lives because we will remain anchored in the hope of Christ.

I am feeling so grateful as I post this final part in our story series. Happy six years, Tee! I’ll love you forever.

Looking forward to many more laughs with you, Tee!!

Thanks for reading our story!! We hope you enjoyed getting to know us a little better!

xoxo,

Zoe
